Writing, a skill, can be transformed into a “million dollar investment” by telling the right people.
Let's say you don't have a blog but can write clever articles, it's your call to inform appropriate people about your service. When they learn of it, you can start making money off it. Not as hard as it may seem.

While starting out, I contacted influentials—bloggers who may likely be interested in my gig.
Also, I joined a lot of freelance related group” on Facebook. You know, it's a because good place to land few jobs. To make things work as planned, I post on there regularly and link back to my blog(you may use your fan page instead) when appropriate.
Another way:
Contact students. At times, these set of audience may seem the right people to connect. Mates looking for help like: essay, letter or project writing does the wonder. Find them. Propose them. The rest is history.
Want to go the extra mile?
Create flyers and discreetly distribute them in halls and lecture rooms. The result is super-duper, trust me.
Writing may not be your thing. So...
Buy and sell on classified
“You don't necessarily have to own a product before you sell it.”
Advent and constant reformation of the internet make up for the huge success of the digital marketing sector with more to come.
Let's face it, you don't necessarily have to own a product before you can market it—some call it dropshipping. It's a system whereby you just have to define your "to-be" customers’ persona, pain-points, needs. Find a product to solve their problems by outsourcing while you get your profit.
The same concept is what we wonna do here. We post an ad of a product, customer contacts us, we get our supplier to fulfill the order while we pocket our profit.
To make things easy, websites like: olx and jiji allow you to list items for sale and for free with no technical skills — they are called classified website.
Once again, simply find a hot selling product and list it for sale. Without interference with your study schedules, this can be squeezed amongst other odd moments.
Advertise for companies:
The advertising channel is very lucrative with money revolving round the system."I’m not a marketer,I’m just a student."
Yes, there are some truths to the above statement, but to some extent.
Being a pro isn't required in this business model—though it helps at times. Just 'get your feet off the ground' first and worry about marketing skills development later.
You can connect manufacturers with raw material suppliers and you get paid for the service you rendered.
On the other hand, you can advertise for companies through social media (Facebook) and get reward for that too. To help your quest, you can look up ecourses and video tutorials out of tons on the internet which explain how to advertise on Facebook. Make sure you get over some and
Bulk Sms:
Bulk SMS is dead, not working anymore.Trust me, it works.
It's indeed a lucrative business and will continue to be — as long as people are using mobile phones.
You can charge companies, NGOs, schools or private institutions for managing their bulk SMS campaigns. Confront them with what I call “killer proposal”. Make yourself irresistible. Demonstrate how it works and how they can benefit from patronizing you. In most cases, you will land a working relationship.
Remember, this shouldn't affect your studies, but will contribute to your income.
Finally,
Freelancing:
I didn't want to add this at first, but I had to. Most of these(mentioned above) skills can be monetized throughfreelancing.
Another way to view freelancing is as a radio and its electrical mains. Some radio have “inbuilt battery power system” to replace electrical power supply incase of electricity failure. Though, the electricity functioning of the radio is not only a tool to power up the system through which it operates, but more effective in terms of reliability and operation.
Frankly speaking, with freelancing your skills and services may manifest faster and you can earn a decent amount of money.
Websites like: fiverr, elance, freelancer and others, though require some practical knowhow, still, may be a great place to start.
